Family Engagement

This work combines group-based and one-on-one activities to ensure families feel supported in meeting their child’s developmental needs and fostering their child’s academic success.

We strongly believe all families should feel comfortable and confident in supporting their student’s growth outside the classroom. 

Core elements of family engagement include:

• Annual home visits to all incoming and current families;
• Family Expos held in concert with family-teacher conferences where families access school-based and community-based resources for learning as well as social and emotional growth;
• Wrap-around workshops on issues relevant to families in our community;
