This is my first year working at DCB. When I first came here it felt like a family, my coworkers made me feel that this is where I belong. My supervisor has been so loving, caring and understanding. I also enjoy working with my co- teachers, everything falls right into place.”“Este es mi primer año trabajando en DCB.
-Ciera Johnson, PK Mixed English Teacher
I like working at DC Bilingual because the colleagues show the support that one receives when they start working. The kids are affectionate, and you learn to care for them a lot. The support from the colleagues feels like a family, and that’s the part I like the most."  -Jose Orantes, ECE Teacher
Comunicarse en DCB es fácil porque la mayoría es bilingüe y usar mi idioma es lo mejor.”"I like working at DC Bilingual because, being bilingual, I am passionate about speaking Spanish, and I enjoy teaching it. I feel that it is a space where I can grow and develop professionally. This is the place to grow and help students speak Spanish. Communicating at DCB is easy because most people are bilingual, and using my language is the best."

“I love working at DCB for its opportunities and diversity. It’s the most diverse school I’ve worked at, where both students and teachers learn. As a non-Spanish speaker, I’m picking up Spanish and Latin lingo, even discovering new music I wouldn’t find at a non-bilingual school. I love music and want to embrace all of it.”
"I like working at DCB because it’s a place where you feel safe and there is inclusion. I feel very secure at DCB."
