Ina Borjas is an Early Childhood Instructional Coach and Science Lead who works with PK-K teachers to develop their teaching philosophies and coaches them in best practices.
She's been with DCB for the last seven years and was a lead classroom teacher in PK3- PK4 - Kindergarten, until she transitioned to her current role.
Ina believes that all children are unique and must have a stimulating educational environment where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. It is her desire to develop a program with this type of atmosphere where students can meet their full potential. To create safe environments where students are invited to share their ideas and take risks.
Ina has worked and developed the PK team into achieving high CLASS scores, an observational tool that the PK team is evaluated on by OSSE every year.
Ina holds a Master degree in Early Childhood and Special Education from Steindhart School of Education at NYU.
