Principal Eleni McCabe oversees DC Bilingual’s PK-2nd program.
She works closely with PK-2nd grade teachers and instructional coaches to ensure that DC Bilingual’s youngest students benefit from a strong academic program that ensures high academic achievement in both Spanish and English, develops leaders, and values all cultures.
Eleni joined DC Bilingual ten years ago as a PK4 teacher and has since worked closely with teachers to build an outstanding bilingual early childhood and early elementary program. Prior to
her current role, Eleni held the positions of teacher, instructional coach, and resident principal.
Eleni is a graduate of the New Leaders Aspiring Principals program. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master’s in early childhood education from George Mason University. Eleni is DC Bilingual’s resident ballerina and loves teaching ballet after school to help prepare students for the annual Nutcracker and spring concert.
