The A. James & Alice B. Clark Foundation Invests in a Strong Future for DCB

At DC Bilingual, each student, regardless of their socio-economic status, language, race, ethnicity, gender, or ability, brings incredible value to our community. Now more than ever, we stand steadfast in our mission to ensure that as many students as possible from every background have access to our high-quality program. School growth is an important step toward our commitment, and we are excited to share that the A. James & Alice B. Clark Foundation has awarded DC Bilingual with a $2,000,000 capital grant to support the school’s expansion. This investment comes after nearly two years of due diligence by the Clark Foundation and reflects the Clark family’s commitment to ensuring that more students in the DC community have access to great schools like DC Bilingual.

The grant provided by the Clark Foundation provides the funding needed to grow our community and serve more at-risk students. We are excited to welcome many new families in the coming years through the addition of new students and teachers and to expand an already diverse community. We believe this grant will also strengthen our community of current and future global leaders by providing an expanded and improved learning environment. We are most grateful to the Clark Foundation for investing in the future of our students.

-Nadia Ramey, Chair, DC Bilingual Board of Directors
