What is your role at DCB?  

PreK 4 Spanish Teacher

What is your educational background? 

I have a BA in Art and Art Education. I also have college courses on Early Childhood education. I will start my Masters in July focused on Early Childhood dual language education at Goddard College in Vermont with a low residency program. Will continue to work at DCB while doing 

My Masters.

How are you available to help parents and families? 

I am available by being fluent in both Spanish and English and being able to communicate with them in the language of their choice. I am also a mother of two children, a 9 year old and an 11 year old, so I can relate very well to what parents go through and what their goals and concerns are in regards to their children. I am a very good listener. Parents sometimes need this.

Why are you passionate about your work?

I love working with children, specially the age group that I work with. I love the diversity in my classroom and in my school. I like that we can learn from one another.

What made you decide to follow this career path?

My love for children and animals
